Fujifilm (8B/A02) has applied its industry-leading inkjet technologies and know-how to flexible packaging, having launched the Jet Press FP790 last year.
According to Fujifilm Graphic Communications South Africa’s general manager Grant Potgieter, this press has been designed for mainstream flexible packaging applications to help print service providers (PSPs) adapt to changing market dynamics driving shorter print runs and product life cycles, faster delivery times and more sustainable production. ‘With high-quality output running at 50m/min irrespective of ink colours and the ability to fit seamlessly into existing production environments, this press will be featured live on the Fujifilm stand at drupa for the very first time,’ he enthuses.
Fujifilm’s digital presses are complemented by a range of imprinting solutions that allow digital inkjet printing to be integrated directly onto existing analogue production lines for a broad range of printing and industrial applications. Built on the industry’s leading Samba printhead, Fujifilm can provide all components necessary to successfully integrate a digital solution into an existing production line: printhead and printbar design; inks and substrates; electronics and software; print and transport systems.
As well as the introduction of new digital technologies, Fujifilm remains a global leader in the manufacture and supply of technologies and consumables for analogue applications, whether it’s offset, flexo or screen printing. ‘Join us at drupa where you’ll discover our passion for building successful, long-lasting partnerships driven by core values of trust, innovation and sustainability,’ Grant enthuses.
In the world of commercial printing, Fujifilm has a growing portfolio of toner digital presses, with its Revoria PC1120 six-colour press leading the industry in terms of performance, he asserts. Very recently, Fujifilm added the Revoria GC12500 B2 dry toner press to this portfolio, bringing another dimension to this range. ‘All these presses will be featured at our stand. But we’re not stopping there – we will also be showcasing two new models within this already powerful range. And of course, the Jet Press 750S High Speed Model will also be on show – come and find out why this press has set new standards for high-quality print production,’ Grant remarks.
