According to the organisers Afrocet Montgomery, the exhibition returns with more than 80 companies booked, a multi-faceted conference programme and the introduction of an online business matchmaking platform to complement the event.
‘With many looking to build on the momentum that is returning to the region’s industries, delegates can look forward to reconnecting and meeting with 3 500 professionals over the three days,’ the organisers state.
The theme for this year’s conference is Sustainability: Being Responsible. Afrocet Montgomery believes that with the global effort to tackle climate change, the responsibility to promote opportunities and educate around ways of limiting industry’s impact on the environment is something more prevalent than ever, especially as companies navigate their way out of the pandemic.
Propak West Africa is also launching the Grip business matchmaking platform to boost engagement levels for exhibitors by providing them with the opportunity to access the full pre-registered visitor list so that they can connect with key buyers in their sector ahead of the event, rather than waiting for the buyers to visit their stand.
Grip’s self-learning AI software also matches profiles against every registered visitor, suggesting matches for meetings with fellow visitors and recommending the most appropriate suppliers for each business’ interests.
Propak West Africa will run in full accordance with Covid-19 measures and implement best practices learnt across the Montgomery Group’s global portfolio of events.
