Groundbreaking bizhub PRESS series

KONICA Minolta South Africa has introduced the C6000 and C7000, two new products to its bizhub PRESS line-up of colour digital presses, designed to meet the demanding and diverse requirements of the commercial print sector.
The C6000 and C7000 digital colour presses build on the company’s flagship bizhub PRESS C8000, designed for light production printing.  With a print speed of up to 60 and 71 pages/minute respectively and an impressive maximum input capacity of up to 7 500 sheets, the bizhub PRESS C6000 and C7000 handle maximum monthly volumes of around 330 000 prints.

Successful début for digi:media 2011

AROUND 170 exhibitors and visitors were unanimous in their praise for digi:media, a new trade fair for commercial printing and digital publishing. They welcomed the initiative taken by Messe Düsseldorf to launch a new trade fair just one year before drupa 2012.

As Kai Büntemeyer, CEO of Kolbus, sums up: ‘I’m really excited about digi:media. This exhibition format works. It offers a forum for conversations at a new level. And this was rewarded by sufficient visitors with decision-making competence.’
