Attention-grabbing tea caddy carton

Needing a new packaging line for its well-known Five Roses brand of tea, the company turned to Kliklok – not only for its reputation for efficient, reliable cartoning equipment but also for expertise in carton design.

Having chosen the Kliklok SFR end load cartoner and high-speed TRAC product loading system, Entyce wanted to create a special carton with a tea caddy style ‘flip-top’ feature, and worked closely with Kliklok to produce an innovative, eye-catching carton that could be automatically erected, filled and closed on the Kliklok SFR.

The timely launch of the Five Roses tea caddy pack was a vital part of Entyce’s marketing campaign, and Kliklok played a part in delivering and commissioning the equipment on schedule to meet a strict production deadline.

Thanks to excellent collaboration between Entyce Beverages and Kliklok, the new flip-top caddy pack has given the Five Roses brand greater consumer appeal on supermarket shelves.

. . . and sleeving for kitchen sponges

In a departure from its traditional food and drink customers, Kliklok has received a second order from Emirates Steel Wool (ESW) in the United Arab Emirates for a Certiwrap C150 wraparound cartoner to sleeve kitchen sponges.

Following the success of the first C150 installation in 2009, ESW reports improved productivity for packaging its range of household cleaning items, and when another cartoning line was needed for the Super Spongex cleaning range, Kliklok was the supplier of choice.

The C150 has once proved ideal, thanks to its efficient handling and sleeving capability, with easy size change as a standard feature. It’s customised to offer a Siemens control package and specially-designed infeed system to accommodate the very light sponge products, cartoning in singles, twins and triple packs.
