Recognising flexo excellence

As judging panel chairman, Bill Marshall, comments: ‘These annual awards demonstrate that flexography competes in quality terms with any other printing method, and that South Africa compares favourably with worldwide achievements.’    

For the first time, the Best on Show accolade was split into three classes, depending on entries printed using solvent inks, UV inks or water-based inks, with top honours respectively going to ITB Manufacturing, New Era Labels and Golden Era. The judges declared these three winning entries to be ‘magnificent examples of what can be achieved by South Africa’s flexographic printing fraternity’.
