Accompanying the Graphica team on these roadshows was Steve Burdett, MD of Winter & Co UK, who is excited about the latest materials. ‘Winter & Company offers a broad spectrum of internationally-recognised materials including creative papers and boards, very fine leather imitations, innovative cloth and textiles, and several flocked materials,’ he commented. ‘By reinventing popular collections and developing trend-setting new materials, we guarantee never to disappoint our customers.’
On display were new twists on original ranges, including a lightweight Wibalin, especially suitable for box making and packaging applications, Corvon Shimmer (from the ever-popular Skivertex range), Wintan Palma and Elva with a new white iridescent version, and premium-quality Nabuka soft suede and metallic colours , ideal for jewellery box covers. New leather selections included Firenze and Milano in warm, rich textures and dazzling colours.
‘Graphica’s Novalite is recognised as one of the largest selections of PVC-coated book binding materials in South Africa and is a fundamental part of Graphica’s business,’ remarked Steve. ‘This season, this classic range has been extended with two new variations – Melody, with a sexy, waxy soft touch, and Radiant – both suitable for blind-stamping, foiling and embossing. I think South African customers will be delighted,’ he concluded.
