Tederic produces up to 4 000 machines/year from its modern 70 000m2 manufacturing plant in Hangzhou, China. The company is reported to invest millions of dollars annually into R&D and has garnered an impressive reputation in 67 countries for its wide product range, high-quality, on-time delivery and expert service.
Umberto Favini, previous owner of Userve Plastic Machinery who introduced Tederic into South Africa in 2005, now oversees national sales of Tederic for Maritime Marketing. He’s joined by product manager, Marc Gerasimo.
Umberto has already commissioned 75 Tederic injection moulders locally and is excited about the company’s alliance with Maritime Marketing and the added potential it offers the brand.
‘We have a comprehensive range of top-quality injection moulding machines and our partnership with Maritime Marketing means we now have greater market coverage and substantial nationwide service and maintenance support,’ comments Umberto. ‘We have qualified technicians countrywide who can complete full installations, service and repairs on all Tederic machines.’
Tederic’s comprehensive line-up includes the TRX Series and the TRX-M Series. The high-quality traditional TRX machines, awarded a CE certificate by German-Rheinland TÜV, are designed with a clamping force from 60 to 4 000 tons.
The injection unit on the TRX injection moulders sports specially-designed nitride screws for PE, PC, PVC and PET with injection capacity from 45g up to 250kg. ‘Tederic machines have proved enormously popular in the South African market with customers such as Precision Plastics, Cape Town, buying several machines at a time,’ adds Umberto.
Cost-efficient precision
Tederic’s latest TRX-M series injection moulders are high-performance, energy-saving machines with servo-driven hydraulic motors, estimated to improve efficiency by up to 70%.
The high-sensitivity pressure feedback system on the TRX-M allows for fast response close-loop control and is said to have a higher position accuracy (0,1mm) and repeatability than traditional machines. TRX-M’s main feature is the single cylinder injection, combining the TRX Series advantages with an upgraded response, precision and efficiency feature.
All Tederic injection moulding machines use Rexroth hydraulics and are fitted standard with T-slots and threaded clamping platens, double-core pull, double air-blast, hopper loader and dryer and water battery.
Tederic’s full machine range is available nationwide from Maritime Marketing and spare parts are readily accessible – ideal for customers who need quick turnaround.
