The national lockdown has certainly thrown industry into uncharted waters, leaving thousands of business owners wondering how they’re going to navigate the next few months without losing their livelihoods.
In times like these (although we’ve never seen times quite like these!), the importance placed on trusted partners cannot be overstated; it’s vital to have partners who can provide critical support and can adapt effortlessly to a changing environment, ensuring a smooth continuation of service and supply.
At Kemtek Imaging Systems, efforts were quickly made to understand the regulations concerning essential services, and how best to attend to customers’ needs during this restrictive period. As a result, a supply certificate was quickly obtained, and an efficient process established to supply essential products such as printing plates, digital inks, press consumables, barcoding and printing technologies, thermal transfer ribbons and labelling systems to businesses in Johannesburg, Tshwane, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Cape Town, as well as providing technical services and support to all customer sites.
‘We’re delighted that we’re able to support those businesses fortunate enough to maintain production during the lockdown period,’ comments Karen Stretch, Kemtek’s head of marketing. ‘Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers is our top priority and we’ve established order and delivery procedures according to strict government requirements.
‘We want our existing customers to know that we’re here and ready to support them in whatever way we can. We also welcome COD orders from companies without a trading account with Kemtek,’ she adds.
‘In summary, we’re illustrating our ability to work as a team, and adapting quickly to a very different business landscape. I’m confident we can provide vital and sustainable support to each and every customer during and beyond this difficult period. We thank customers for their ongoing business, and look forward to a more positive working environment in the near future!’
Kemtek customers are requested to contact their respective regional representatives via email, indicating order requirements and providing copies of Essential Services Certificates as issued by CIPC.
