Its portfolio includes Acme Rolltech ceramic anilox rollers and sleeves, Polywest printing sleeves and bridge adaptors, SWG laser engraved elastomer printing sleeves, Auclean flexo plate mounters and cylinder cleaning machines, DCM/ATN sheetfed flexo presses, KYMC CI-flexo presses, Rotoflexo stack and CI-flexo presses, Bloss ink management systems, Luster inline web inspection systems, and Peret handheld quality control instruments like the Corrcheck.
According to director Uwe Bögl, DCM’s IM 2 sheetfed flexo presses are ideal for converters avoiding the digital inkjet press route, but wanting an economical and user-friendly flexo press for short production runs, to overprint cartons and corrugated boxes in up to three colours. ‘With a maximum capacity of 2 700m2/hour and a global install base of over 1 245 presses with 25 in Africa – this simple to set-up and maintenance-free mechanical concept, which can be managed by one operator – has proven an ultra-reliable workhorse. It is widely used for linework decoration of wine, fruit and pizza boxes.’
