Your elevator pitch for Propak Ghana 2024?
Launched in June 2023, Propak has become the leading exhibition for the packaging, processing, print and plastics industries in Ghana. It provides a platform for people from across the value chain to come together, learn about the latest products and services on the global market and hear from industry leaders on what to look out for in the year ahead.
With over 2 500 visitors expected from Ghana and neighbouring countries such as Benin, Togo and Cote d’Ivoire we’re excited to be back in Accra from 23 to 25 April 2024. We’ve learnt a lot from the launch event and will channel those learnings into plans for the 2024 edition. For more info, visit: www.propakghana.com
What opportunities are there for South African companies participating in Propak Ghana?
Due to the growing interest, Propak Ghana 2024 will feature a South African pavilion that offers exclusive rates for those taking a stand, or a tabletop networking area to hopefully entice more companies to join.
Aside from the exhibition we’ll be able to assist with discounted hotel bookings, transfers to and from the venue, and for one of the evenings we’re working with the South Africa consulate to host a networking function exclusive for those companies on the pavilion.
To top it off, the Ghanaian government recently announced that South African nationals will now enjoy visa-free travel to the country.
What else can visitors and exhibitors look forward to?
The exhibition will host 120 companies from many different countries, and we hope to see more live machine demos on the exhibition floor. We’re working with KPMG Ghana again to run our conference programme, which will focus on sustainability in the industry, as well as best practice methods.
Additionally, we are renewing our partnership with key export councils in surrounding countries to bring in delegations of senior industry members, who don’t yet have a similar platform in their countries. It promises to be a busy week.
