A B Graphic International (ABG) unveiled its most significant exhibition at this year’s Labelexpo. Dominating the floor with its largest-ever stand, ABG showcased 17 machines, placing an emphatic focus on the future of automation.
Highlighting ABG’s unyielding commitment to advancing technology, 25 innovations were introduced. At the forefront was the much-anticipated ‘ABG Connect’, the company’s automated workflow solution. Other notable unveilings included flexo technology, non-stop equipment, the new Vectra G, the latest SRI and the highly adaptable and fully modular 530 converter.
For the first time since 2019, Nilpeter returned to Labelexpo. Its stand, themed ‘The Future of Flexo’ took centre stage throughout the four days in Brussels. Nilpeter’s flexographic presses, crafted with precision and state-of-the-art automation and specifically designed to embrace an expanded colour gamut (ECG), stand as paragons of quality in the industry.
With a high proportion of European visitors, it was the ideal venue to showcase anilox engravings and discuss how Sandon Global has recently strengthened its commercial and technical presence in mainland Europe with additional investments in its facilities, leading-edge laser equipment and advanced coating technologies.
Lehner showed the FlexoMatrix plate mounting system. The company displayed workflow concepts for extended job management and new operating concepts for 360 degree-controlled plate mounting. In addition, LEHNER presents camera and scanner technology for the digitalisation of plate management and the industrialisation of flexo printing.
Domino showcased the N730i digital UV inkjet label press along with the K600i variable data printer integrated with the new K300 high-resolution inkjet. Deemed as one of the latest global technology advancements, the N730i digital UV inkjet label press prints at 1 200dpi with BITSTAR print head technology.
Graphimecc continued its implementation of advanced technologies in the field of serialisation, print quality certifications and development of RFID products. Graphimecc presented the new Tabletop line, intended for encoding and checking the quality of RFID products. These machines are known for their compactness (less than two metres), simplicity and reliability, and boast speeds of up to 30m/min.
Dutch company Rietstack – who specialise in the manufacturing of web finishing machines – showcased its IRS die-cutting and stacking machine, aimed at various markets, including in-mould labelling (IML).
Another highlight was Rotometal’s latest innovation, aluminium magnetic cylinder, with its body manufactured from aerospace-grade hard aluminium. This addition to Rotometal’s product portfolio captivated the attention of industry experts and professionals alike. Its lightweight design, up to 50% lighter than traditional counterparts (120T – 23.7kg), left a lasting impression on the event’s attendees.
