In the bag with Buckle

For the last 35 years, Buckle Packaging has supplied superb quality stitching and heat sealing machinery for end of line bag closing.

As the South African agent for world-renowned Fischbein bag stitching machinery and Saxon’s continuous hot air heat sealing equipment, Buckle offers everything from entry-level portable and manual equipment to industrial automatic inline systems.

Fischbein’s MP100 3,3m heavy-duty sewing system is Buckle Packaging’s most popular line. As bags travel along the conveyor, operators feed them into the stitcher using a double-action foot control switch.

For added automation the MTS, MFS and MUA Fischbein systems enable operators to feed filled bags into a power infeed device. Bags are gripped by infeed carry belts and automatically fed into the stitcher (activated by an electronic eye) that automatically sews bags and cuts threads at the end of the process. This equipment is suitable for straight sewing, auto bag-top folding and sewing and for automatically applying crepe paper tape over the top of bags. This equipment is commonly used in the milling, animal feed, pet food, charcoal, fertiliser, chemical, salt and spice sectors.
